This area is located east of Eagle River approximately 7-8 miles depending on which campground you travel to. You can find both campground locations using the links on this page.

The Kentuck Lake - Spectacle Lake Trail takes you on a beautiful hike through a gorgeous mixed forest and over several streams. Both campgrounds off both water and restrooms at each end of the trail, and a sandy swimming beach area at Spectacle Lake. Keep your eyes open while on the trail as you are likely to spot a variety of songbirds and other wildlife native to the area.

Pets are allowed to accompany you as long as they are kept on a leash. There is a $5 day use fee or you can purchase the $30 annual fee for access to National Forests.
