The WinMan Trails have quickly become a favorite in the Northwoods since their beginning in 2011. Located north of Manitowish Waters, the trail system is set on 1300 acres of land that was formed as part of a glacial moraine. This has created excellent terrain for hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing.

The trail system is comprised of numerous loops with trails specifically for the different activities people love to do in northern Wisconsin. There are trail maps for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fat tire biking & mountain biking. More trails are added each year and the trails maps are available on their website.

The WinMan trail head features a beautiful chalet that was finished in 2017. It offers bathrooms, changing rooms, a Great Room with kitchen, cozy wood-fired furnace with pizza oven and plenty of seating. There are also ski tables set up for waxing and a bike station with pump and tools for minor repairs before you hit the trails.

The WinMan Trail System operates on donations with a $10 daily suggested donation and a $100 annual suggested donation. You can donate on-site at the donation box or online at their website. Please make sure to support these amazing trails so people can continue to enjoy them for years to come.
