Razorback Ridges Trails provide excellent year 'round activities near Sayner, Wisconsin. Sayner is a lesser-known community located near Eagle River and St. Germain. The area offers gorgeous forests and excellent outdoor opportunities.

The trail network is available for a variety of silent sports in each season including hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Razorback Ridges Trails is a cooperative effort between the Sayner-Star Lake Lions Club and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

The main trailhead is located near the intersection of County Highway N and Razorback Road. There is a nice warming building located right at the trailhead. The trails are free to use however donations are appreciated to help support the local volunteers and their efforts in clearing and grooming the trails. An ice skating rink is also available in the winter months at the trailhead.

Razorback Ridges is made up of 16 miles of trail network and covers a huge variety of terrain and difficulty levels. Beginners and experts alike will find trails that are both fun and challenging. Please make sure to take note of the difficulty ratings provided on the trail signs while enjoying the trail network. Some sections are definitely for expert skiers and bikers with one small stretch even labeled as Suicide Hill.

Pets are welcome on leashes in the warmer months, however the volunteers ask that they be kept off the trails in the winter. This keeps the grooming in the best shape possible for cross country ski enthusiasts.
